Re-centering Vietnamese cultural perspectives in contemporary digital storytelling through source-referenced historical research and artistic care.
The Baiyue (Bách Việt) encompasses the ancient indigenous ethnocultural continuum of northern Vietnam and southern Lingnan, spanning the bronze drum cultures of Đông Sơn, the riverine civilizations of the Red River Delta, and the sovereign identity of Đại Việt across the Lý, Trần, and Lê dynasties (10th–18th centuries).
For generations, traditional Vietnamese folklore, martial disciplines, medicinal systems, and pentatonic musical modes have existed in fragmented manuscripts, oral songbooks, and localized temple archives. The Baiyue — Đại Việt Digital Cultural Universe was created to synthesize this wealth of heritage into a structured, living, open-access digital memory.
Our creative process anchors every output to source-referenced historical research, archaeological artifacts, dynastic dress records, and genuine pentatonic music theory, ensuring authentic representation without superficial caricatures.
Informed by Đại Việt Sử Ký Toàn Thư, Lĩnh Nam Chích Quái, and archaeological findings.
Hò-Xự-Xang-Xê-Cống pentatonic modal purity merged with 432Hz cinematic resonance.
Published openly under CC BY-NC 4.0 with timestamped cryptographic provenance.
